About Consumers Voice Africa

Consumers Voice Africa is an independent, pan-African directory where people read

and write honest reviews of the businesses they use. We publish real reviews from

verified reviewers only — no paid reviews, no invented ratings, no fabricated awards.

Businesses are listed with their details and website; ratings appear only as genuine

customers review them.

Verified reviews only

Consumers Voice Africa is an independent directory where consumers read and write honest reviews of the businesses they use. We publish real reviews from verified people — nothing else. We do not write reviews ourselves, we do not sell ratings, and we never invent scores, votes, or awards for any business.

How a review is verified

Anyone can leave a review — good or bad — once they identify themselves (name and a verified email). Verification is what makes a review trustworthy and keeps the directory honest: reviews are attached to real, accountable people, not anonymous or paid content.

Two signals: the crowd and the inspector

Like the best guides, we keep two things separate and show both. Consumer reviews are the crowd — 1–5 stars from verified customers. The ConsumersVoice assessment is our own independent judgement — a restrained ladder of 0, 1, or 2 CV stars. A business can be loved by customers yet hold no CV star, and vice-versa. That separation is what makes each signal mean something. Our full method is on how we rate.

Ratings appear only when real reviews do

A business is listed with its details and website link. Its rating and reviews appear only as real, verified customers submit them. A new listing simply shows “No verified reviews yet — be the first to review.” We never display a score a business hasn't genuinely earned from real customers. In the same way, no business holds a ConsumersVoice star today — a star appears only after a real, documented assessment.

What “Live site confirmed” means

A listing shows “Live site confirmed” when we have checked, in a live look, that the business runs a working website and publishes a real-world contact — a phone number or a physical address. That is the entire criterion. It is a factual signal that the business is real and reachable; it is not an endorsement, a rating, or a ConsumersVoice star, and it says nothing about quality or reviews.

The criterion is neutral and applies identically to every company, including the Walada Group's own brands. A business is confirmed because it is real and reachable — never because of who owns it. A listing we cannot confirm to this bar is still listed, simply without the line.
