Editorial ethics
Consumers Voice Africa maintains absolute editorial independence from the
brands we research and rank.
We do not accept advertising from rated brands. We do not accept paid
placements. Brands cannot pay for entry consideration, ranking position,
or expedited review.
Our independence is structurally guaranteed by four mechanisms:
1. Funding model: polling-cycle entry fees (paid uniformly across an
industry) and recognition-verification services. No brand-specific
sponsorship or directed funding.
2. Adjudication: findings reviewed by the polling team independently
before publication. No brand sees its own results before the cycle's
overall publication date.
3. Conflict of interest: every researcher declares financial, family, or
business relationships with brands under review. Declared conflicts
result in recusal from that specific category's adjudication.
4. Audited methodology: published in full annually and externally audited
by an independent accounting firm. Methodology changes require 18
months advance notice.
Our reputation is the product. We will not compromise it.
