The award we administer
The Top 3 Ghana Award
ConsumersVoice is the independent body behind Top 3 Ghana — recognition for the three best-performing businesses in each industry, each cycle. The award is domiciled in Ghana and open to businesses across Africa — any company listed on this directory is eligible. Recognition is earned, never bought: no paid nominations, no paid placements. It is our most rigorous assessment, and it is published on its own award site, top3ghana.com.
The medal hierarchy
- Gold — 1st place The category leader for the cycle.
- Silver — 2nd place The runner-up — a top-tier performer.
- Bronze — 3rd place Earned entry into the Top 3 — the benchmark for the category.
There is no 4th place, no "finalist", no participation award. In a category a cycle produces at most three winners — or fewer, if fewer than three businesses meet the threshold. A no-award-issued cycle is legitimate. Scarcity is what makes the recognition mean something.
How the winners are found
Every eligible business is scored against nine weighted pillars, triangulated from four independent research streams — verified customer surveys, blind mystery shopping, bot-filtered digital-reputation aggregation, and an independent sector-expert panel. It is not a popularity vote: no business can win by mobilising a base. See the full method on how we rate.
